A History of the Sampson Naval Station .::. Our Finger Lakes History with Walter Gable

On this edition of Our Finger Lakes History, Seneca County Historian Walter Gable presents the complete history of the Sampson Naval Training Station during World War II which was located on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake where Sampson State Park is today and covered 2,535 acres. 411,429 naval recruits were trained there during the 3.5 years of operation.
