On Episode #75 of the Inside the FLX podcast Geneva City Councilor Mark Gramling joins Josh Durso in the FingerLakes1.com Studio to discuss a variety of local issues. Those issues discussed include the latest on the Geneva Foundry, controversy around the Geneva Police Department, as well as continued growth in downtown.
On episode #73 of the Inside the FLX podcast Josh Durso is joined by Ontario County Elections Commissioner Charlie Evangelista to discuss a host of local issues, including some local races taking shape. Over the summer, Evangelista transitioned from serving on the Ontario County Board of Supervisors to serving as the chief elections official for Ontario County. The Democrat has decades of public service under his belt in the Geneva-area, as well.
On Thursday’s edition of the Inside the FLX podcast Josh Durso was joined by Geneva City Supervisor Lou Guard, who discussed some of the issues facing voters this November.
Guard works for Hobart and William Smith Colleges, but prior to landing back in the community he loves — the success his hometown was experience inspired he, and his wife, to come back. “Every weekend there was a new restaurant or business opening, and you could tell that great things were happening.” After coming back, and getting involved with that community — Supervisor Guard said his focus turned to other locally important issues.
