South Seneca & Midlakes in NYSPHSAA Far West Regionals .::. FL1 Sports 3/10/18

Two Wayne-Finger Lakes girls basketball teams compete at the Far West Regionals at Rush-Henrietta on Saturday night for a chance to advance to the NYSPHSAA Final Four at Hudson Valley Community College. First, the South Seneca Lady Falcons take on the Section VI Class C Champion Allegany-Limestone Gators. Then, the undefeated Midlakes Screaming Eagles face Section VI Class B Champion Fredonia Hillbillies. Midlakes Screaming Eagles vs. Bath-Haverling Rams .::. Section V Class B Championship on FL1 Sports 3/3/18

The Midlakes girls entered the 2018 postseason with a perfect 20-0 record. Four games later in the Section V Class B Tournament they are still undefeated and now can call themselves Sectional Champions for the first time since 1975. Head Coach Nate Rich’s Screaming Eagles absolutely destroyed Bath-Haverling on Saturday evening at Rush-Henrietta rolling the the title with a 70-40 win in a game that wasn’t close from the start. After Bath-Haverling’s Jadyn Abrams opened the game’s scoring, Midlakes would close the 1st quarter on a 24-4 run and extended their lead to 41-19 heading into halftime before finishing the contest with a 30 point margin.

Pal-Mac vs. Midlakes .::. Section V Class B girls quarterfinals on FL1 Sports 2/23/18

Alaina Forbes, Cara Walker, Macy Kisner and the rest of Coach Nate Rich’s undefeated Midlakes varsity girls basketball team are trying to win their school’s first Sectional title since 1975. Standing in their way is a tough, fellow Finger Lakes East opponent in Pal-Mac who will be playing at full strength for the first time since late January. The winner will advance to the semifinals. Mynderse-Midlakes varsity double-header for Coaches vs. Cancer .::. FL1 Sports 1/26/18

A double-header of high school basketball on Friday night as Mynderse battled Midlakes in a girls-boys varsity doubleheader in Clifton Springs. First, the undefeated Midlakes girls varsity basketball team takes on the Lady Blue Devils followed by a Class B Finger Lakes East match-up between the Mynderse and Midlakes boys varsity teams.
