During the month of August 2020 we are celebrating centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the the United States Constitution. That amendment guarantees that every woman in the United States can not be denied the right to vote based on their gender. In this episode of Our Finger Lakes History, Seneca County Historian Walter Gable focuses on influential activist Alice Paul and her connections to Seneca Falls, site of the first women’s rights convention in 1848.
