Amanda Kirchgessner calls herself a non-traditional candidate for state office. She is seeking to unseat State Sen. Tom O’Mara, who has represented the 58th District since moving over from the State Assembly.
She began her run for office in November, and brings more than 17 years of experience serving people to the discussion. Her non-traditional path means that she has an opportunity to connect with voters, according to the aspiring public servant.
Last week Sen. O’Mara was on Inside the FLX; and this week Amanda Kirchgessner joined Josh Durso to talk about politics, her past, future, and how she plans to help reform Albany.
