FL1 Sports schedule announcement show on 11/13/15:
NewsChannel 9’s Sports Director, Steve Infanti, will be a guest on Weber This Week on Monday morning August 24th at 9:30 am, LIVE on FingerLakes1.TV. Infanti leads WSYR’s coverage of Syracuse University Athletics, Friday Night Fever, and also hosts Orange Nation, a weekly show dedicated to giving viewers an in-depth look at the Orange during the SU football and basketball seasons. In addition to his work at NewsChannel 9, Steve can often be heard on the radio hosting various shows for the local ESPN radio affiliate. Steve joined the NewsChannel 9 team in January of 1999. He anchored weekends for five years before being promoted to Sports Director in October of 2003. Prior to joining the NewsChannel 9 team, he was a sports reporter and anchor at WIVT in Binghamton. Steve graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca’s Park School of Communications with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.

Introducing the all new FingerLakes1.TV, network hub and homepage of the FingerLakes1.TV Internet Broadcasting Network. Our new home on the web launched on Monday afternoon, June 7. 2015.
The new site was developed and launched accomplish the following goals…
1. Cross platform/device compatibility
Our new website is usable on smartphones, tablets, desktops and televisions giving you access to all our live and on-demand programming wherever you want it.
2. Organization of all our network programming
Previously, each of our recurring programs and podcasts was on their own ‘island’ separated from the rest of our programming. This new network hub puts all our shows and programs in the same location and all can be searched at once from the search bar at the top of each page.
3. Set the stage for our 24/7 live feed
Coming soon, FingerLakes1.TV will begin broadcasting our content 24/7 over a live, linear feed at the main page of this site.

From the unique waters of the Finger Lakes, each with their own characteristics and personality, to the raging waters of Lake Ontario, the diversity of offerings our region has to offer sets us apart.
The all new Finger Lakes Board Sports podcast will cover it all. Geared towards the die-hard athletes as well as those interested in getting involved in these sports, this monthly podcast will feature local reports, tips, product reviews, interviews, and much more.
The podcast will be hosting by Doug Willard and Jason Gordon.
Doug Willard has been windsurfing since the age of 12 and regularly travels the area looking for the best conditions. He is passionate about getting outdoors and playing in the real world, as well as helping others to do the same. Other pursuits that Doug enjoys include Stand Up Paddleboarding, Long board Skateboarding, and biking.
Jason Gordon was a disillusioned windsurfer looking to increase his session frequency when he decided to switch over to kitesurfing in 2009. Coupled with his love of nature and extreme weather, kitesurfing has since found him chasing the wind regionally and to destinations as far south as Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. Like Doug, Jason also enjoys other sports including surfing, SUP, skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and tennis.
The debut episode of the Finger Lakes Board Sports Podcast will air at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 20, 2014 on the FingerLakes1.TV Internet Broadcasting Network.
