Over 5,000 runners & walkers entered this year’s It’s A Wonderful Run 5K and crossed the George Bailey Bridge on Saturday in Seneca Falls as part of the It’s A Wonderful Life Festival. The below video shows activities in downtown Seneca Falls in the afternoon and the popular 5K run/walk which begins at dusk when the actress who played Zu-Zu, Karolyn Grimes, says the famous words, “every time a bell rings, an angel gets their wings”. The 2014-15 Wayne-Finger Lakes high school basketball season is in full swing and FL1 Sports is featuring a special crosstown rivalry doubleheader from Arthur L. Baker Gymnasium in Seneca Falls as the Waterloo Indians face the Mynderse Blue Devils in a pair of varsity basketball games. Both games are expected to be highly competitive this year. Dave Barnick, Kevin Korzeniewski and Matt Verkey have the call.
