A full house welcomes Mike’s return to the 31st Lap Studio. Jimmy Blewett stops in to talk about his two-win weekend, taking dirt modified wins Thursday at Bridgeport and then backed that up Saturday at New Egypt. We also catch up with DIRTcar NE Marketing Director Jeff Hachmann, and a local race fan calls in to give his perspective on Rolling Wheels.
Tonight, we welcome a full house back to the studio (minus Mike), to chat with Pete Stefanski (Pro Stock winner from Utica-Rome) and the winner from East Bay Raceway in Floriday, Buzzie Reutimann. Reutimann is a 1997 Dirt Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee.
This week, John comes back to the studio and is joined by RaceChaser Online columnist Steven Ovens and Dirt Motorsports Hall of Fame photographer Jay Fish. The night kicks off with Billy Dunn, fresh off a win at Canandaigua and a solid showing in the Modified Super DIRTcar Series events this week. Then, on the local level, we catch up with Brady Fultz, who rattled off a pair of wins at Black Rock in the same night. We conclude with Dan Creeden, winner of the Battle for the Bull Ring.

Mike misses the event due to a baseball game, but we press on and welcome Chris Hile and Billy Dunn to the studio. Hile discusses how his third-place showing is like a victory following the off-season fire that claimed the team’s hauler. Dunn talks about running modifieds and sprint cars; we chat with him about the upcoming 360 Empire Super Sprints opener at Can-Am Motorsports Park.

In the newly-launched topic segment, we look at ‘why go to the races, anyway?’ and cover all sorts of results and upcoming local events, and take a deep look into the mailbag.
And of course, we touch on the wonders of fantasy modified racing (and the 31st Lap Team is doing mighty well).
