FingerLakes1.com will live-stream a debate between the four candidates involved in June’s Republican Primary in the 131st District. That seat, which has been held by Assemblyman Brian Kolb (R-Canandaigua) will be vacated at the end of the year. The primary contest is between Manchester Town Supervisor Jeff Gallahan, Former Canandaigua City Councilor Cindy Wade, Seneca County Chamber of Commerce President Jeff Shipley, and Seneca County Farm Bureau President Ann Marie Heizmann.
The three candidates on the ballot for the New York State 54th Senate District race, to fill the seat long-held by Senator Mike Nozzolio, were all inside the FingerLakes1.com Studios on Thursday night at 8:00 pm for the only broadcast debate to feature Republican Pam Helming, Democrat Kenan Baldridge and Reform Party Candidate Floyd Rayburn.
