Local standout Tim Ellison broke through in a huge way, winning nearly every feature event he entered during the week at our hometown Seneca County Fair in Waterloo, NY. Ellison won three of six features, and took second in two others in the most successful week at the fair in recent memory. Kayla Peterman won the chain and go event, where Ellison was second, and Toby Wise won the Figure 8 feature. Kale Wilkins won the Junk Run.
We return to the air with a look back at the Seneca County Fair, and all the pageantry that comes with our own hometown derby. We also take a peek at the action promoted by Jordan Rutherford tonight and Stirrin Dirt’s Wastch Wipeout later this week, and look ahead to what’s to come in the Finger Lakes this month.
Tonight, we recap the Kings of Old School team derby from the weekend, talking with the winning team of Jamie Bolt, Brad Tice and James Aumick. Then, we catch up with Jamie St. Mary, who was with the winning team of Matt Zira and Travis Charleson in the Compact Division. St. Mary also ran full-size. Donnie Hartzell joins us in studio to recap is run to third overall and second in the compact team standings.
We finish with a preview of Brookfield Wheel Days, talking with Mike Ingraham, who won the Madison County Fair Championship in Brookfield, NY back in July and goes into the weekend as a heavy favorite to double-up.
