The Newark Reds invade Waterloo High School looking for revenge against the Indians boys varsity basketball team after Waterloo defeated the Reds in their last meeting in December. The two Finger Lakes East rivals are also sitting at 2nd and 3rd place in the Section V Class B1 standings. Waterloo Indians vs. Mynderse Blue Devils .::. Varsity Night Doubleheader on FL1 Sports 2/1/19

The cross-town rivalry between Waterloo and Mynderse is renewed on Friday night as the Indians and Blue Devils girls and boys basketball teams square off in a Varsity Night doubleheader in Seneca Falls. The Waterloo and Mynderse girls are jockeying for position in Section V Class B2 with the postseason just 3 weeks away. Meanwhile, the Waterloo boys go for their first win in Arthur L. Wayne Eagles vs. Geneva Panthers .::. Finger Lakes East Boys Basketball on FL1 Sports 1/29/19

The Wayne Eagles invade the Panther Den to take on the Geneva Panthers is a key late-season Finger Lakes East boys varsity basketball match-up. With a win, the two-time defending Section V Class A2 Eagles will have a virtual lock on the league title. Geneva, enjoying their beast season since 2014, a win would secure key sectional points while pulling the Panthers within a half-game of Wayne at the top of the East. The Mynderse Blue Devils and senior big man Darren Miller visit the Newark Reds, fresh off their victory at Geneva on Tuesday night, for a Friday night Finger Lakes East showdown.
