Ontario County is battling odors from the landfill located along 5&20, but that’s hardly the only issue impacting life in the middle of the Finger Lakes. This week on Inside the FLX, we go in-depth on some of the most-pressing issues with Supervisor Lou Guard. He represents part of the city of Geneva on the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.
Josh Durso, Jackie Augustine & Jim Sinicropi were live inside the all-new FingerLakes1.com Studio on Election Night for results, reaction, interviews and analysis from Tuesday’s vote in Cayuga, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates Counties. Hear from Seneca Falls Town Supervisor Greg Lazzaro, successful Seneca Falls Town Council candidate Doug Avery, Geneva City Supervisor candidates Lou Guard & Dom Vedora and Seneca County District Attorney Barry Porsch.
On Thursday’s edition of the Inside the FLX podcast Josh Durso was joined by Geneva City Supervisor Lou Guard, who discussed some of the issues facing voters this November.
Guard works for Hobart and William Smith Colleges, but prior to landing back in the community he loves — the success his hometown was experience inspired he, and his wife, to come back. “Every weekend there was a new restaurant or business opening, and you could tell that great things were happening.” After coming back, and getting involved with that community — Supervisor Guard said his focus turned to other locally important issues.
