2019 Mynderse Academy Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Watch the Mynderse Athletic Hall of Fame 2019 Induction Ceremony at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls held on Saturday night at 5:30 pm inside the Delevan Theater. The Class of 2019 includes lifetime contributor Robert McKeveny, Michael Anderson (1986), Michael Bullis (1970), Bill Caraher (1975), Bill Moody (1972, David Farney (1972) and the 2003 Blue Devil Tennis Team.


Chartered in the fall of 2009, it is the mission of the Board of Directors of the Mynderse Athletic Hall of Fame, to recognize the crowning athletic accomplishments of the Hall’s alumni, coaches, and teams from the past, as well as to develop pride in the rich athletic traditions that have been created over the decades at Mynderse Academy. The inductees exemplify Mynderse Academy’s commitment to athletic excellence, qualities of leadership, and sportsmanship. Through recognition, our inductees and their families will be reconnected with the Seneca Falls community providing current student athletes with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the history of Mynderse Academy athletics.

Kenny Haas was at some recent sectional high school basketball games and gives his impressions from the Mynderse and Waterloo opening round boys and girls games along with the state of the Orange basketball team following Saturday’s loss to Duke and Kenny’s annual Oscars recap.


Big games ahead for Syracuse & local hoops teams .::. Kenny’s 2 Pennies 2/19/19

With Lousville and Duke coming to the Carrier Dome this week, it doesn’t get much bigger for the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team. ‘Cuse isn’t the only squad with big games this week as Mynderse and Waterloo boys and girls begin their quest for a Sectional Championship with opening and quarterfinal round games set for this week as well.

A Monday night high school basketball doubleheader from Seneca Falls will featured a Finger Lakes East girls varsity match-up followed by an intriguing East-West boys cross-over game. First, the league leading Midlakes Lady Screaming Eagles take on the Mynderse Lady Blue Devils. Then, Finger Lakes West leadeing Marcus Whitman brings their 12 game winning stream into Mynderse to take on the Blue Devils. Jim Sinicropi, Mike Alessio and Matt Verkey have the call for FL1 Sports.
