Friesen also announced he will be headed down to race in the Modified events Feb 20-23 in Florida.

Rob Wilcox and partner in racing Dave Yehl come on to talk about their new social media venture, Liftin’ the Left Front, an IMCA Modified-dedicated fan page. They are using the site to help increase the visibility of the division.

Congrats to Kevin Swindell on his fourth straight Golden Driller, the headline trophy given to the winner of the annual Chili Bowl indoor midget race.
First, Roger Slack joins us for his first visit to the 31st Lap, talking about his past seasons flagging the Chili Bowl, and the Camping World Truck Series event at Eldora in July.
Slack’s resume includes several awards, such as the 2007 National Sprint Car Promoter of the Year, 2007 World of Outlaws Late Models Series Promoter of the Year, 2007 Humpy Wheeler Executive of the Year Award ,and 2006 Bruton Smith Department of the Year Award.
He was also on hand to help produce the racy conditions at the New York State Fairgrounds during Super DIRT Week XL in 2011.
