The Flood of 1935 .::. Our Finger Lakes History

In this edition of Our Finger Lakes History, Seneca County Historian Walter Gable deals with the Flood of 1935 that devastated the southern Finger Lakes. The July 1935 flood killed 44 people and caused millions of dollars in damages. This extended episode features several photos and newspaper accounts from Tompkins, Schuyler, Steuben and Cortland counties including the effect the flood has in the northern Finger Lakes.
